Important Information About My Stay

  • I´m allowed to stay if I weigh no more than 40 pounds.
  • Only one dog like me is permitted per room in the categories designated for this program.
  • At check-in, you´ll need to provide my details for identification during our stay: my name, weight, age, color, and breed, along with a veterinary vaccination certificate confirming Bordetella and Rabies vaccines within the last 12 months.
  • When I stay with you, you must be present whenever hotel staff—housekeeping or maintenance—enter the room to perform services related to this program.
  • Room cleaning must be scheduled in advance and can only happen when I´m not in the room or when you´re there with me. You´ll need to arrange this with the Concierge beforehand.
  • I´m allowed in the beach area, but this can vary by resort, so please confirm at the reception desk. They´ll give you a map showing the dog-friendly zones. I´m not allowed in pools, the gym, the spa, shops, or indoor areas of restaurants or bars—no exceptions.
  • I must always be on a leash or inside a carrier outside the suite, villa, or penthouse.
  • You´re responsible for ensuring I don´t cause noise or disturb other guests.
  • I should sleep on the bed provided by the hotel, and I´m not allowed on any other furniture, cushions, carpets, mats, linens, towels, kitchenware, or anything else meant for guests.
  • I can’t be alone in the room for more than 2 hours day or night. If I am by myself, put the lock on the door that indicates there is a dog inside the room and provide a phone number where Marival Distinct’s team can always reach you.
  • I cannot be left alone overnight.
  • You´re responsible for cleaning up after me in designated areas and disposing of my waste properly in the special containers.
  • I must be free of fleas and ticks, clean, and well-groomed.
  • I´m not allowed to be bathed in the hotel´s room showers.
  • If I cause disturbances, excessive noise, or harm or threaten other guests, visitors, or staff, the General Manager can request my immediate removal from the hotel.
  • The resort reserves the right to request my removal if these rules aren´t followed.

The price is $50 USD per night and includes all the amenities mentioned above. You can add the all-inclusive package for your pet for $25 USD daily.


What other services are available for pets?

We offer dog-sitting services, product sales at the boutique, and a premium menu with Angus cuts and high-end kibble.


Can I leave my dog alone in the room?

Yes, for a maximum of 2 hours, always hang the “Dog in Room” sign on the door and provide the concierge with your cell phone number.


In which areas can my dog be inside the resort?

Only in the areas indicated on the map provided at Check-In. Dogs are not allowed in pools, gym, spa, shop, or indoor areas of restaurants or bars.


Can my dog sleep on the hotel bed?

No, your dog must always sleep in the bed provided for them.


What documents do I need to stay with my dog?

A valid vaccination certificate against Bordetella and Rabies issued within the last 12 months.


What happens if my dog causes damage or disturbance?

You will be responsible for covering any expenses for damages or additional cleaning. If the rules are not followed, the hotel may request the pet’s departure.
